堂區報告 PARISH ANNOUNCEMENTS復原修繕基金 CHURCH RESTORATION FUND 本主日彌撒領聖體後，為聖堂復原修繕基金籌募，請慷慨捐獻。 There will be a collection for Church Restoration Fund during masses. Please contribute generously. 聖若瑟會 ST. JOSEPH SOCIETY 聖若瑟會會友將於本主日(二月七日)上午十一時彌撒後，留步聖堂敬禮主保大聖若瑟，為已亡會友及先祖祈禱，隨後在聖若瑟堂(廿三室)開生日會。 After the 11:00am mass today, February 7, St. Joseph Society will say their prayers to honor their deceased members and ancestors. Birthday party will be held in St. Joseph Hall (Room 23) afterwards. 2009免稅收條 TAX RECEIPT FOR 2009 教友可於下列日期及時間在圖書館門前領取2009年奉獻之免稅收條。本堂鼓勵教友或委託親友按時領取。同時，教友之奉獻信封號碼，可在圖書館查閱。(姓氏以英文字母排列)。 Please be noted that Tax Receipt for 2009 will be ready for pick up at the entrance of the Parish Library in the following time schedule. BLASE 二月三日為聖巴拉斯瞻禮，聖人在四世紀時為亞美尼亞之撒巴斯城主教，受教難迫害而殉道。中世紀時，聖人敬禮便傳遍整個教會。傳說聖人曾治癒一窒息兒童的奇蹟，並常醫治喉嚨見疾而受痛苦的人，故稱之為喉疾主保。本堂於本主日(二月七日)彌撒後，紀念及祈求聖人代禱，並為教友舉行喉嚨祝福禮儀。 An Armenian bishop, St. Blasé suffered martyrdom during the persecution of Licinius, in the early 4th century. According to legend, he performed a miraculous cure to a boy who was choking to death. St. Blasé has long been associated with cures for afflictions of the throat, and the blessing of throats may take place on this day in memory of St. Blasé. There will be the blessing of throats today February 7 after masses. 收集聖枝通告 DRIED PALM LEAVES COLLECTION 本堂開始收集教友過往的聖枝，收集後化為灰燼，以備二月份聖灰星期三禮儀之用，多謝合作。 We are colleting dried palm leaves to be used as ashes for Ash Wednesday in February. Please bring your palm leaves to church. We thank you for your help. 籌款抽獎券 FUNDRAISING RAFFLES 本堂將於本主日現發售五元兩張抽獎券，為堂區復原修繕基金籌款。抽獎日期為二零一零年二月十四日農曆新春團拜聯歡會即場舉行。請教友踴躍支持，並邀請親友購券並蒞臨共聚。 Raffles tickets, 2 tickets for 5 dollars, are available for sale at the entrance of the church and the information desk. It raises funds for the Church restoration. The raffle draw will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at the Chinese New Year Celebration Party at our Parish Hall. Parishioners are encouraged to support this event by inviting their friends and families to join us. 費泰利神父之新書發售 A BOOK SALE OF FATHER TERRY FAY 2月7日(主日)11時, 1時及2時半彌撒後將有費泰利神父之新書The New Faces of Canadian Catholics: The Asians 介紹及發售。每本25元。書中介紹亞裔加拿大人對天主教教會的重要性。 A book sale of Father Terry Fay's new volume, The New Faces of Canadian Catholics: The Asians will be held on Sunday, February 7 at the 11 am, 1 and 2:30 pm Masses. The book sells for the discount price of $25 and explains the importance of Asian Canadians in the contemporary Catholic Church. It deals with Chinese, Filipino, Tamil, Korean, and Vietnamese Canadian Catholics. 預告事項 UPCOMING EVENTS慶祝農曆新年 CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATION 二零一零年二月十四日(主日)為農曆大年初一，上午十一時彌撒(只舉行一台)後，在堂區中心禮堂舉行農曆新春慶祝會(團拜)。秩序有為堂區復原修繕基金籌款抽獎項目、歌唱、舞蹈等節目。歡迎各位教友參加，並帶同家鄉賀年食品，如糕點、糖果、時果、齋菜等與我們分享。本堂更歡迎教友與親友同來慶祝。 Chinese New Year Celebration will be held in the Parish Hall after the 11:00am Mass Sunday, February 14th 2010 (only one mass scheduled). We invite you to bring in Lunar New Year goodies, beverages and fruits to share with our brothers and sisters. We will have also fund raising raffles draw entertainment during the celebration. Invitation is also extended to your families and friends. 堂區牧民議會會議 PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL MEETING 下主日之(09-11)年度第三次會議堂區牧民議會將延至三月十四日下午一時在會議室舉行，請各代表留意。 The (09-11) 3rd Parish Pastoral Council Meeting will be postponed to Sunday, March 14 at 1:00pm in Conference Room (Room 6).
