The Toronto Post Secondary Chinese Catholic Community (T.P.S.C.C.C.) was first started by a group of Chinese Catholic students from the University of Toronto in the beginning of 1977. The intention was to give the students there an opportunity to get together for fellowship and to know the Lord better.

The original name of our group was University of Toronto Chinese Catholic Community (U.T.C.C.C). But later in the same year, in view of the fact that we were the only Chinese Catholic student fellowship in the whole of Toronto while there were quite a few colleges and universities around us, we decided to change the name U.T.C.C.C. to our present name as T.P.S.C.C.C. The objective was that the needs of our brothers and sisters from other post secondary institutions could also be served.

We are here so that they might have life, in their ever-growing personal knowledge and love for God and for each other, and that they might have it more abundantly.

T.P.S.C.C.C. is one of the parish organizations in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Chinese Catholic Centre, Toronto. The internal structure of the T.P.S.C.C.C. consists basically of co-ordinating leaders and general members. As an effective channel of co-ordination among our brothers and sisters, the executive committee is a combination of both the general executive committee members and the different sub-group leaders.
